"I hold dual master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Chicago, where I also completed my bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Electrical Engineering. My academic background has given me a strong foundation in mathematics, physics, and core mechanical engineering subjects. I have worked in both academic and industry settings, and for the past two years I have been serving as a Professor of Science and Engineering, teaching College Algebra, Calculus, Physics, and Mechanical Engineering courses including Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Statics, Dynamics, Mechanical Design, Controls, and Programming with MATLAB.
I’ve worked with college students for many years, starting as a Teaching Assistant and eventually moving into full-time teaching. I’ve taught in many different settings—from working one-on-one with students who needed extra help to leading classes of over fifty students. My goal is always to make challenging material feel more approachable. I like to break concepts down into clear, simple ideas and then reinforce them by working through plenty of examples together so students leave feeling confident instead of overwhelmed.
I genuinely enjoy helping students “click” with subjects that once felt confusing or intimidating. Whether someone needs help catching up, wants to build a stronger foundation, or is tackling advanced coursework, I’m committed to helping them understand the material and succeed in their classes." less...
