"This is my 6th year teaching general education writing courses at the college level. Although I currently teach in the English Department at Eastern Kentucky University, I also have experience teaching at Louisiana State University and Bluegrass Community and Technical College.

I enjoy helping students master the fundamentals of writing, persuasive argumentation, and academic research. Areas of concern on which I commonly work with students include thesis statements and topic sentences, forming well-structured arguments, evaluating sources, and crafting property-formatted citations.
