I will plan lessons to meet your specific needs and learning style. I tutor English Composition, Literature, ESL, Argument and Research Writing, Proofreading, Editing, Study Review, and Test-taking skills at high school and college-level.

I'm dedicated and passionate about tutoring one-on-one in a safe and caring learning environment. Lessons are customized to meet core curriculum standards, and to develop and enhance analytical / critical thinking skills in reading, writing, and testing.

My credentials: M.ED. in Higher Education from Dallas Baptist University (major in English Instruction), Bachelor of Arts and Sciences in Interdisciplinary Studies (majors in English and Nutrition), Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from Britain, and member of Alpha Sigma Lambda National Honor Society. Face-to-Face and Online teaching certification; TESL and Grammar Certification.

With a combined ten years of teaching and tutoring experience, I currently teach English Composition and Literature classes at Dallas College, both on campus and online. Previously, I taught GED Grammar and Writing to adult learners at Literacy House. Furthermore, I volunteer-teach advanced-level ESL to a diverse group of internationals at a local church.
