The college application process is exciting and daunting. It can be challenging to handle the pressure of writing when the stakes are so high, and it can feel overwhelming to try to narrow your whole self into one 650-word personal statement. I graduated summa cum laude from Princeton University with a degree in English and a certificate in Creative Writing. I hold an MFA from the Michener Center for Writers, where I was a James A.
