"Hello, everyone! I am a stay at home mom with three children, but I have taught at 5 different schools across the state of North Carolina. Most recently, I have taught honors chemistry, standard chemistry and AP Chemistry in Wake County Public Schools. Teaching Chemistry is an absolute passion of mine and it's what I believe I was designed to do, which is why I have decided to tutor high school and college chemistry students that need extra help.

Here is a little bit of background information about myself: I graduated in 2007 from Appalachian State University with a degree in Chemistry, Secondary Education. I first started at North Carolina State University and attended there for 2 years before I transferred to Appalachian State. Once I graduated from App. State in December of 2007, I started my teaching career in January at Hibriten High School in Lenoir and taught earth science there for half a year.

I moved from this location to Myers Park High School in Charlotte, NC where I taught chemistry and physical science for 2 years. I earned my Master of Arts in Education from East Carolina University in May of 2013 after teaching in Charlotte. I have tutored students during my undergraduate career at App. State and I have tutored students off and on since I graduated. I love to tutor because I love to teach. Chemistry is my passion and any time I can help students out on a one-on-one basis, the more I love the subject.

I want your student to improve their chemistry grade, but I also want to make sure they truly learn the concepts to gain a greater understanding of chemistry at the same time.
