"Hello everyone, my name is Andy and I completed my doctoral degree from University of Kentucky (UK) in the field of Environmental Engineering. I always had a passion to teach, and five years of being a Teaching Assistant (TA) at UK helped me to foster this passion. Apart from being a TA, I was offered to teach Introduction to Environmental Engineering for one semester (Spring 2010) before my graduation in December 2010. I secured the highest rating (3.8/4) and also was nominated for the Provost best teacher award in the Provost list for 2010.

After my graduation, I continue to help students (middle school, high school, undergraduate) in various field of math, science and engineering programs. Overall, I have been teaching for close to fourteen (14) years in various fields of math, science and engineering.

For middle and high school students, I can help you in the following areas:

1. Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, II, Math 1 and Math II, Math 3, Advanced Algebra, Trigonometry, Geometry, Pre-Calculus, AP Calculus AB and BC

2. Physics and Chemistry Honors courses, and basics statistics

3. SAT (math only) and ACT (Math and Science) in regards to college entrance examinations

For undergraduates, I can assist in

1. Calculus -1 and Calculus-2

2. Introduction to Environmental Engineering

My tutoring style involves explaining specific concepts with inclusion of solved problems to better understand the application of those concepts. This is generally accompanied by assignments to gauge students understanding on the specific subject matter.
