"Greetings, I'm Madison! I graduated cum laude with a Bachelor's in Psychology with a minor in Anthropology. I had the privilege of attending a liberal arts college where I took many subjects outside of my major, including Calculus, Astronomy, History, and Statistics. During my schooling, I had struggles outside of the classroom that I commonly went to student-led tutoring for. This was an invaluable resource to me and helped me pass many of my classes and I am forever grateful to the students who took time out of their own busy schedules to tutor. I would like to be that person for somebody else.

While I have not had official experience in tutoring, I took the time to help fellow students when they were struggling with concepts that I understood. I led a few study groups in psychology classes where I was the most knowledgeable. In this process, I try to find the root of the misunderstanding and figure out where they are confused. From there, I try to show the person how that understanding is faulty or incorrect and explain why. I will explain my method/knowledge and why it is a better fit for the situation at hand.

I am very light-hearted and fun, and frequently crack jokes to get people to laugh. I want people to love to learn as much as I do. I believe learning can be an enjoyable experience with the right person, and I want to be that person for you or your student.

I excelled in my algebra and calculus classes, making a 4 on the AP Calculus exam and high B's in college calculus classes. I kept all of my notes from those classes and would make use of them while tutoring. I had the privilege of having excellent teachers and student tutors and will integrate that knowledge into my tutoring.

My main schooling focus was in these subjects and I consider myself highly proficient in them. My major GPA was 4.5 and I never made below a B in these subjects.
