My academic experience included both classroom-based learning and hands-on field and laboratory work, giving me a strong foundation in scientific inquiry and the ability to explain complex concepts to other students in clear, practical terms.

My background includes formal teaching of credential courses through the University of Maine, where I developed and delivered structured academic content to both college students and adult learners working toward certifications in fisheries and aquaculture. I also have experience tutoring students in biology both individually and in group settings, allowing me to adjust my instruction to different learning styles, academic levels, and subject needs.
