"I have over 20 years of college mathematics teaching experience, and I have worked (both teaching and tutoring) with high school and college students of all levels. Whenever I meet with a new student, my first goal always is to find out where a student is in terms of math background, confidence, and understanding, and I try to meet them wherever they are. My experience has prepared me to continually adjust my explanations and pace to match the level of a student.

In response to the COVID pandemic, I began teaching my (in-person) classes through Teams/Zoom using my Ipad, and I've continued this practice since then. I've also regularly held on-line office hours, so I have a lot of experience working with students online, both individually and in groups. I have a BA (graduating Magna Cum Laude and with a 4.0 gpa in math classes), an MA, and a Ph.D. in mathematics, and I've taught over 20 different college mathematics courses throughout my career.
