"I hold a PhD in history from Brandeis University, and I have been working as a lecturer/instructor of freshman writing seminars as well as college courses in the humanities (primarily U.S. history) for a decade now.

I love to help high school students succeed in their English and history classes, and to help college students improve their research paper and essay writing assignments. As an educator, I know exactly what teachers and professors look for when grading student work.

I have been tutoring students privately for the past fifteen years, and have extensive experience teaching Advanced Placement exam prep for English Language, Literature, and U.S. History. Language arts and social sciences are my areas of expertise, including vocabulary and reading comprehension skills.
