I have over twenty years of experience teaching high school and college level English and Humanities and strive to help my students learn how to learn as well as master specific subject matter. I earned my BA with Honors in English from UC Berkeley (minor in Spanish) and went on to earn a PhD in English Language and Literature. Whether you need help with an essay, reading comprehension, research and editing, or test prep, I would be happy to assist you. My teaching experience is supplemented by my professional experience writing and editing academic books and articles.
