"I am a college professor at Dean College and Fisher College specializing in Exercise Science and Sport Management. I also am the pitching coach and recruiting coordinator for the baseball program at Dean College. I am passionate about helping students and athletes meet their goals and guide them by providing organizational tips, assisting to develop emotional coping mechanisms and patience. I have experience with students and student-athletes from ages 8 through adulthood.

I am currently in the process of obtaining my Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) certification from the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and will have it at the end of June. I am also CPR/First Aid/AED certified through the American Heart Association. I have taught numerous Sport Management and Exercise Science courses at the undergraduate level, including: Biomechanics, Introduction to Sport, Fitness & Exercise, Advanced Concepts of Personal Training, Health Education and Fitness Dynamics, Introduction to Kinesiology, and Cardio Conditioning Applications.

My teaching style is individualized and tailored toward what the student's strengths and weaknesses are. I also prefer to include a variety of teaching modalities to help with providing different methods of conveying information. I like to incorporate real-world scenarios with the concepts that I am trying to teach in hopes of the student applying and retaining the taught material.
