"I have taught at the college and university level since 2017 in the English and Humanities departments. Working with thousands of students has given me a deep understanding of how to help a student succeed, regardless of the challenges they feel they are facing. I deeply care about the person I am working with and will do what it takes to help them succeed according to who they are and their needs. I meet everyone where they are at and provide the skills and tools they need to get them where they need to go. While I tutor a broad range of subjects, I am deeply passionate about writing in all subjects and helping students in English, Humanities, Philosophy, and the Social Sciences. I am also able to help with test preparations. I also have developed a unique writing methodology that guarantees continued successful outcomes. I can also help students navigate the often-hidden expectations of academic life by assisting them to build success skills that are lasting and transferable.

I hold an M.F.A in Poetry from Seattle Pacific University, an M.A. in Literature & Writing/Publishing from DePaul University, and a B.A. in Philosophy from North Central College. In my free time, I love reading, hiking in nature, and playing guitar.
