"Hello, I am Grant! I graduated with First Class Honors Math degree in Mathematics from the University of Warwick, and a Ph.D in Mathematics from the University of Texas at Austin. While completing my Ph.D, I taught a wide range of classes, and since then I have taught more at multiple universities. I also encountered numerous teaching styles, and became interested in what works best for which students. I use this experience in my interactions with students.

During my 20 years teaching and tutoring, I have taught very different subjects to students with a wide range of backgrounds and relationships to math. I have developed a variety of my own materials to teach with, and can tailor these to the specific needs of the student. I am passionate about teaching, and evaluations frequently note my enthusiasm and desire for students to succeed. I have used a variety of teaching techniques, including flipped classroom. I have also participated in a number of professional development and teaching workshops focused on mathematical pedagogy.
