I always say "learning is fun, school is not." Organic chemistry is one of the most challenging years in any student's college experience. Over the last 8 years, I have helped hundreds of students improved their intuition for organic chemistry, their confidence in taking exams, and their overall grades. I'd love to do the same for you.

- B.S. from Stony Brook University in Biochemistry and Mathematics

- Head TA for Honors Organic Chemistry at Stony Brook for 2 years

- Tutored Organic Chemistry for over 8 years now

- 2 years of research experience in a chemical biology lab synthesizing antibiotics

- 3 years of professional experience as a curriculum writer

- 5 years as a career coach to college students.

- Worked at public and private universities, as well as education nonprofits.

- 5 years of online teaching and coaching experience, including 4 years with Wyzant

- I launched a summer program for pre-health first year and sophomore students. I've been working with pre-health students my entire career.

Tutoring Style:

My tutoring style is extremely flexible to your interests. I use analogies, real life examples, and stories to develop your orgo intuition. I connect organic chemistry to what you already know and like. As with any organic chemistry, I like to draw a lot and talk with you through every step. Visual, verbal and audial learners love me. I'm also a patient, friendly and funny guy so a tutoring session with me is never too intense. I would rather encourage you and motivate you to be your best self. There is no such thing as a bad question. While the majority of our time will be on organic chemistry, I'm happy to give advice on getting research lab experience, picking smart electives, or any other related college questions.
