"In high school, I spent a significant amount of free time tutoring students with disabilities, where I learned how to create individualized lesson plans that play to the strengths of an individual's learning style. At the time I focused on tutoring math, science and English. Working one-on-one with students allowed me to get a better sense of the way their brain worked, and I was able to cater my sessions to each of them. I really enjoyed the feeling of knowing I helped someone understand a topic they were struggling with and learned a lot in the process.

During my time at UCSB for my undergraduate degree, I took a break from tutoring to focus on my studies, however in the meantime I led many study groups and diversified my knowledge within a wide breath of topics. I spent a lot of time tutoring my classmates who needed assistance, and really enjoyed figuring out ways to explain a concept using multiple different approaches. My strengths include Psychology, Biopsychology, Neuroscience, Psychopharmacology, Biochemistry, and Biology. I also have a strong background in Literature, Writing and Proofreading. I was the head proofreader of my high school's Model United Nations where my own classmates would come to me to get their papers checked, and that has carried over throughout the course of my life!

I am currently enrolled at Columbia for my Master's degree in Bioethics, where I continue to strengthen my writing abilities and knowledge of ethics in the medical industry, and I am simultaneously applying to medical school.

I would love to help students of all ages in any of the topics of my expertise, or serve as a proofreader for college applications or other essays.
