I graduated from Columbia University with degrees in mathematics and philosophy, and I've taken coursework in advanced undergraduate computer science. I've worked as a college teaching assistant, and as a tutor, for over ten years.

I specialize in teaching advanced college mathematics and computer science, especially for students pursuing a mathematics or related degree. My current work is in real analysis, probability theory, and related topics.

I am also happy to help with introductory courses in physics and chemistry.

For most college level subjects, I will need to see the specific exercises or notes that we'll discuss during our meeting. If the exercises come from a textbook, often I will already own that textbook, so you can just tell me the problem numbers from it.

College level subjects are not as standardized as high school subjects. Seeing exactly what you will want to discuss in advance, helps me to know exactly what I need to teach. It also helps me to decide whether I am the right tutor to help with that material. So please note that I will require that you send the assignment before we discuss scheduling.
