I studied Math at Yale University and Engineering at Stanford University, and am experienced in helping students gain confidence and mastery in mathematics.

I tutor middle school, high school, and college math, including:

- Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, and Calculus

- Integrated Math

- AP and IB Math

- SAT Math (and Reading / Writing)

As a tutor, I’m familiar with Common Core standards and know how to align lessons with what students are learning in school. I help bridge classroom instruction and at-home understanding, and focus on shoring up any gaps from class.

My approach is personalized, compassionate, and structured to meet each student where they are and help them succeed.

Each 50-minute lesson includes:

- A targeted topic review

- Guided practice questions

- Optional homework for reinforcement

- A detailed report with topics covered, strengths, areas for improvement, and next steps

Behind the scenes, I spend an extra 15 minutes preparing and 10 minutes writing your student’s progress report after each session. Prep time is included at no charge, while report writing is billed — so we can make the most of every minute of tutoring!
