"Hi! My name is Brooke, and I have a passion for helping kids. I currently work as a daycare teacher and have been for the past 3 years. I have an undergraduate degree in Communication Disorders, as I aspire to be a Speech Language Pathologist in the future. I have experience with tutoring as I volunteered for a local non-profit tutoring center during high school. I have more experience with English, such as reading, spelling, phonics, grammar, etc. because of my classes in college.

I have always done well in English classes in college and high school. I received a 28 in reading and a 30 in English on the ACT. I received A’s and B’s in all college English classes.

I have worked with several children as an independent babysitter/nanny. These children needed help with homework, projects, etc and I have been able to help. I have always excelled at spelling and even placed in a spelling bee in elementary school.

I took several classes in college related to phonics and phonetics because communication disorders revolve around them. I received an A+ in these classes.
