"I love interacting with students! I have worked as a professor for about ten years now, and my favorite part of my job is helping students one-on-one during my student hours. I have taught many chemistry classes from non-major's gen ed and allied health up through general chemistry and biochemistry. As for biology, I teach introductory cell biology as well as major's biology and cell biology.

I graduated from Linfield College (it's now Linfield University) in 2003 with a BS in chemistry and a minor in psychology. I then worked in an immunology lab researching multiple sclerosis while volunteering at a science museum. I knew I wanted to teach at a college someday so I entered grad school at Notre Dame - Go Irish! - in 2005. While there, I studied under a biochemistry professor researching a specific protein highly expressed in muscle cells. I took many graduate level biochemistry and biology classes, including cell biology, molecular biology, and genetics." less...
