"Hi there! My name is Jennifer. I received a Bachelor of Arts from Georgetown University. In my undergraduate career, I received support from national and state college access programs (e.g. QuestBridge), and as a way to pay it forward, I was brought back to mentor students as they pursued their professional and academic goals. Through these organizations, I met with students 1:1, discussed their application in detail, provided feedback, and more.

Prior to university, I taught English as a Second Language (ESL) at a local nonprofit organization, and I provided students with resume-building tips, interview practice, etc. This experience was my first exposure to advising/coaching, and it inspired me to continue down this path. I tutored English and Spanish as well as other academic subjects.

It has been a wild ride, but after being a tutor/coach for six years, I can honestly say that working with my students has been the honor of a lifetime. College is a big step, and I will cheer you on every step of the way. Writing does not have to be intimidating. On the contrary, it can be quite fun!

In all of my sessions, I remind students of my core philosophy: writing is intentional. Throughout the writing and editing process, I ask my students to consider how their word choice, tone, voice, and style transform their essay. Each student has unique experiences, and my goal is to craft an essay that highlights my student's qualities and, above all, leaves the readers wanting more.

My students have successfully won fellowships, scholarships, and acceptances to top colleges as well as law, medical, and graduate schools. Some of these top undergraduate and graduate schools include:
