I have a degree in Elementary Education and a Reading Specialist Endorsement. I have taught 4th grade, worked with small groups of kindergarten students needing extra help with reading, provided one on one instruction to students with special needs, and taught 6th and 3rd grades! I'd love to hear from you about how I can impact your student's life! As a tutor, I've worked with students across all grade levels, from PreK to 8th grade. It's a joy to watch each and every student grow in confidence and success!

I've taught Elementary Math across many grade levels, providing the scope and sequence to help each student succeed in the moment and lay the groundwork for what they will learn next. I strive to make math fun and meaningful to everyday life.

I chose to add a Reading Specialist Endorsement to my teaching license because of my passion for helping all students learn to read and write well. I've utilized this endorsement with all students, both large group and small, as I implement the many skills and strategies I learned to help all students be wonderful readers and writers.

I was home schooled for part of my own educational career and have also taught in a home school tutelage school, understanding the unique needs and desires of the home school family and student.

As a tutor I meet in a public location, often the local library. I find that students seem to be more focused when outside the home setting. Per my cancellation policy, all lessons cancelled less than 3 hours before scheduled will be charged a cancellation fee. All no shows/calls will be charged 100% of lesson fee.
