"Hi! I'm Jonathan. I'm a pianist, piano teacher, and music teacher currently studying at the world-renowned Oberlin College and Conservatory. I have over 2 years of experience teaching students of all levels, from beginning players to advanced pianists. My musical lineage of teachers stems all the way back to Liszt, Beethoven, Mozart and more!

I am a winner of numerous piano competitions, such as the Ebony Prize at the MTNA National competition, first prize at the Claudette-Sorel Piano Competition in New York, and much more. With this experience in piano, you can be sure what I teach is tried and true!

Not just piano, I have experience composing, playing saxophone and electric bass, analyzing music, learning music history, and much more. As someone who is incredibly passionate about music, I assure you, your passion will be shared.

With a level 10 certification from the Royal Conservatory of Music for piano and a 5 in AP Music Theory, I am highly qualified to teach you anything from music theory, ear training, to beginner piano.
