"I am a composer, pianist, and educator currently based in Southern California and am currently pursuing a Masters degree. I have racked up more than a few years of experience helping my classmates understand the inner theoretical workings of music in different practices including but not limited to Voice Leading, Harmonic Progression, Texture, and Chord Construction. Helping undergrads, grads, and adult students grasp theory and excel in their studies is something I enjoy doing whenever I can.

I know how frustrating and intimidating academia related to music performance and composition practices can be. I've had many professors, not all of them communicated their knowledge in a way that is accessible or comfortable to me and my classmates. My goal is to not only help aspiring music majors with whatever topic they're struggling with, but also encourage them to learn concepts in ways that are effective, productive, and idiosyncratic to their individual processes.
