"I have over five years of experience tutoring undergraduate and graduate students on topics ranging from calculus to quantum mechanics to probabilistic programming and technical writing. I bring my interdisciplinary research background to all of the subjects that I teach, drawing connections and prioritizing key concepts.

During my undergraduate studies at MIT, I worked in the Center for Theoretical Physics on self-interacting dark matter and other aspects of astroparticle theory. After completing my degree I worked for several years on nuclear disarmament and non-proliferation issues as a computational physicist before enrolling in my doctoral studies, also at MIT. As a PhD student, the majority of my work centers around high-performance computing and machine learning for astrophysical data. In addition to my primary research fields I've published on topics ranging from spacecraft navigation to energy systems modeling and applied probability and statistics for archaeological research.
