"I'm Brenda, a Computer Science graduate with an Associate of Science degree in Computer Programming. During my studies, I completed coursework in Python, Java, C, JavaScript, HTML and CSS, Linux, and several other technical subjects. While my professors built a strong foundation for me, I learned early on that coding truly clicks through hands-on practice. I have spent countless hours programming outside the classroom, which allows me to explain concepts clearly, break them down step by step, and help students truly understand the fundamentals.

I have more than five years of tutoring experience at the college level and over three years tutoring on various online platforms. I have worked with students one on one in computer labs, libraries, and virtual sessions. I have also led small study groups for Python and Java courses where students needed extra support to keep up with assignments. In addition, I have tutored high school students in Python, Algebra, and Calculus in both in-person and online settings.

My experience also includes working with AI tools, building small AI projects, and completing a certificate in data analysis. I hold the CompTIA Security Plus certification. This combination of programming, data, and cybersecurity knowledge allows me to help students understand how these skills connect to real-world tech careers.

My goal is to provide clarity, confidence, and practical understanding in every session.
