"Hello! My name is Gabriel S! I'm a Computer Science graduate currently looking into getting into Grad School. I have passion for all things software and tech, and love to share that passion with others. I'm constantly learning new things and staying up to date in today's rapidly changing software landscape. I found that the best teachers I had were those that focused on their own practical experiences and spent as little time as possible on the theoretical. As such, my teaching approach also focuses on learning by doing and trying new things. My goal is to expand my student's problem solving skills, rather than just cramming in knowledge that may help pass an exam, but be useless in the real world.

I have 4 semesters of Computer Science tutoring experience, teaching underclassmen during my time at Loyola Marymount University. I aided students in catching up on missed lectures, working through programming assignments and debugging. Since the job was open drop in tutoring, I was challenged to accommodate a wide variety of students, many of whom I was meeting for the first time.
