"Hi! In my experience within the games industry, I've spent many years both honing my software development skills and teaching younger developers both simple and advanced topics. While earning my degree in Computer Science at UC Davis, I taught astronomy labs for four years. There, I learned how to guide students through difficult and complex subject. I love the excitement that people get when they understand something that was once a mystery to them. I'm ready to help with whatever programming and software development related topics you want to learn!

Through my work experience and college education, I've become well versed in a variety of programming languages and frameworks. The subjects I am most familiar with include C, C++, Objective-C, Swift, Unity, GameMaker, Object Oriented Programming, and Software Architecture. I have both a strong understanding of computer fundamentals as well as a practiced knowledge in real-world programming applications.

Through my TA work at UC Davis and teaching friends and colleagues programming, I've learned that being an effective teacher requires taking the time to understand how they learn. I'm most interested in giving people the conceptual tools that they can use to address both current and future programming problems.
