"I have over 7 years of experience as a professional software developer, with most of that time spent working on production web applications. I've always enjoyed helping my colleagues, friends, and family understand and digest some of the more confusing aspects of computer programming and computer science, topics that I've been passionate about since my time in high school.

I've worked extensively with Ruby and Javascript (including Typescript), but I also have experience with many other programming languages and general programming principles. I've tutored students in one-on-one and group settings as a teaching assistant for the Introduction to Data Structures and Algorithms course at Brandeis University.

Whether they are working on a specific assignment for a class, a long-term project, or simply need some clarification to help to solidify their technical understanding, I'm open to tutoring learners of all backgrounds and ages. I structure my lessons around what the learner needs/wants and am happy to work with them as long as they continue to find our meetings helpful. I like to encourage learners to engage with the material by asking them questions and prompting them to talk through their intuition.
