"Hello! My name is Nate, and I am a rising third-year medical student in a US MD program. I recently passed USMLE Step 1. I know first-hand how high-stakes exams like the MCAT and Step 1 can feel, especially when you’re unsure if you truly understand the material or are just memorizing facts.

I bring several years of teaching experience at the collegiate and graduate level. I graduated college summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry. During college, I worked as a teaching assistant for two years in General Chemistry I and II. I then completed a Master of Medical Sciences, graduating with a 3.9 GPA. I was invited back as a teaching assistant for the Immunology/Microbiology and Histology courses in the program.

I am the first student in my graduating class to take and pass Step 1, becoming the earliest traditional MD student in my school’s history to do so. Preparing for Step 1 while still studying for my pre-clinical classes required building a solid, conceptual foundation and efficient, sustainable strategies to manage my time and resources.
