"Hi, I'm Morgan! I have studied Spanish as a second language for over a decade. My studies, which began in fifth grade in the local public school system here in Dallas, led me to achieve a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and a Minor in Spanish. Prior to college, I took AP Spanish III and scored a 4 on the AP exam. I've worked in a primarily Spanish-speaking office setting, and in 2019, I spent extensive time working abroad in Latin America with the U.S. Peace Corps in Paraguay. Part of my work included teaching ESL to Paraguayans. As a fluent, non-native Spanish speaker, I understand the difficulties that students face when trying to comprehend a foreign language. I've made the same errors they're making right now, so I totally understand the frustrations and excitement that learning a new language can bring!

I do not have any formal teaching experience or teaching certifications. I do not teach/create lesson plans. My tutoring consists of walking your student through their homework assignments. I go deeper than simply giving students the answers to their assignments; I ask students "Why is that the correct answer?" I push them to use context clues, engage their own unique memorization techniques, and develop a deeper understanding of the language.
