"As a Cornell University Animal Science graduate from the Class of 2025, I developed a strong foundation in both the biological sciences and education through a variety of teaching and research experiences. I entered Cornell with an International Baccalaureate (IB) diploma, which prepared me early on for rigorous academic work and interdisciplinary thinking. During my undergraduate studies, I served as a teaching assistant for Avian Physiology, where I worked closely with faculty and students in both lab and lecture settings. In this role, I facilitated discussions, explained complex physiological systems, and supported students individually to reinforce their understanding of avian biology.

I also took part in student teaching at a local middle school, where I designed and delivered lessons in life sciences to younger learners, gaining valuable experience in classroom management and adapting content to meet the needs of diverse age groups and learning styles.

Beyond the classroom, I am involved in research focused on avian behavior and conservation. Currently, I am a graduate student at Southern Illinois University, continuing my studies in forestry while mentoring undergraduates in both research and academic settings. My teaching style emphasizes active learning, clarity, and mastery of subjects.
