"Hello! I’m Kaining. I earned my bachelor’s degree from University of Wisconsin-Madison in chemistry and biochemistry with an overall GPA of 3.9. I graduated from Cornell in May 2025 with a PhD degree in chemistry, with a focus in organic chemistry.

I have been a teaching assistant for 2 years at Cornell. I have led discussion sessions for college level general chemistry I and II and organic chemistry I and II. I have experience preparing practice questions or exams for the students and guiding them to the answers. I have also held office hours which give students chance to ask specific questions one on one.

Though I spent most of my time teaching college students, I have also led several outreach events in chemistry which targeted high school students or even younger ones.
