"Hi, I'm Dustin. I have a PhD in physics from Cornell University, and a BS in Mathematics from Oklahoma State University (3.98/4.0 GPA). I also have many years of experience applying advanced mathematics and scientific modeling to hard problems in a variety of technical fields. I have always served as a mentor in every position I have held, and have helped individuals at all education levels develop new skills and apply knowledge in new ways.

I love helping students learn advanced math concepts, physics, optics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, and software development. I help students think beyond just getting grades, helping them to appreciate the problem solving abilities that can be unlocked with advanced math. I like to repair the damage that has been done by all the teachers and peers that say "you'll never use algebra once you are out of school", as nothing could be further from the truth. Learning how to apply math and science to every day life, as well as work, yields great benefits.

I taught physics to mostly pre-med students at Cornell University for one year. This included both classroom teaching as well as one-on-one teaching during office hours.
