"I’m a certified executive function coach with 15 years of experience helping teens and young adults develop the skills they need to succeed in school and beyond. I work with students to create personalized strategies for time management, organization, and task completion while integrating their class assignments into our work. Through 60-minute coaching sessions, student check-ins, and parent feedback, I help students stay on track, reduce stress, and build lasting habits for academic and personal success. My students have experienced higher grades, improved task initiation, reduced procrastination, and greater independence in managing their workload.
As someone who is neurodivergent, I understand firsthand how overwhelming academics can feel. I attended the San Francisco State University Clinical Schools Program, an alternative credentialing program where I received specialized training to teach students with diverse learning needs. As a former classroom teacher, I taught in inclusive classrooms, attended student IEP meetings, and created individual student plans to ensure all learners had the support they needed to thrive.
In addition to EF coaching, I am a K-8 ELA Content Specialist in Assessment and Design, and I provide 1:1 ELA test prep tutoring for students in grades 3-8. My students have developed stronger reading comprehension, writing skills, and test-taking strategies that have helped them feel more confident and prepared. I’ve worked with students at all levels—whether they’re trying to catch up on late assignments, manage a heavy workload, or develop long-term executive function skills. My goal is to help my students understand how they learn best and create systems that work for them, so they can feel confident, independent, and prepared for lifelong success both academically, professionally, and socially." less...
