"I have been teaching English for the past 5 years with great success. I specialize in working with business professionals who need to improve their English for work and with university students preparing to take the TOEFL exam. I have many satisfied students who were able to finally go from intermediate to advanced English speakers with my help. I work one-on-one with my students, whether that be online, in their homes or another community location. As a public school teacher, I provided after-school one-on-one reading and writing tutoring for struggling students four days a week in addition to the regular curriculum.

I hold a Masters of Science degree in Psychology and am a certified educator. I also hold bachelors' degrees in both psychology and anthropology, for which I graduated cum laude. My writing-intensive secondary education provided me with the opportunity to develop exceptional grammar, reading, and writing skills. Being a native English and Spanish speaker also provides me with an advantage that many other teachers don't have-the ability to understand the nuances that exist between languages and the struggles that those differences create for students.
