"Hello I'm Ben. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a Bachelors in Journalism. After a few years of post graduate work, I pursued and graduated with a Masters in Accounting from UT Austin. During my time as a graduate student, I learned different communicative styles from my professors and determined no single style works for everyone. As a result, I have applied this approach both in the workforce as well as in tutoring sessions.

During the final year of my Masters program, I began tutoring undergraduate students in accounting. I bring a fun but informative approach to each topic to keep students engaged and enjoy learning about topics that some may consider to be dull. I make the time to ensure each student understands the material through practice examples prior to the conclusion of each lesson.

I have 2 years of experience tutoring math and accounting both in small group settings (1-5) as well as large groups (5+). I also have 1 year experience tutoring in other subjects including essay writing, proofreading, geography, and interview prep.
