"Education is not so much the filling of a bucket but the lighting of a fire within. I have been an educational leader for the last twenty years on the Navajo Indian reservation. The Navajos have taught me the importance of love of family, country and God. In turn, I have tutored hundreds of students in the art of achieving academic success. I have focused on the development of the whole person as I helped my students develop leadership qualities. To do this I have lesson planned, laughed, dreamed, problem solved and celebrated growth with them as they achieved their goals."
