"My love for teaching comes from being the oldest of four siblings. I was the "go to sister" when it came to homework questions and projects for school. I worked at an in home daycare for 7 years and absolutely loved it. There was a lot of hands on learning and different methods we used to engage the children. I am a very creative person and I have a passion for art and reading. I love to incorporate art into every aspect of learning. Reading is also a huge part of my life. I worked with a company as a literacy tutor called Americorps for two years. I worked primarily with elementary students in a very repetitive environment. It was an amazing learning experience for me and I learned so much.
