"I am a credentialed elementary and secondary teacher with 25 years of experience teaching elementary, middle, and high school. I am currently a high school English and English Language teacher. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies, a California Single Subject Credential in English, a California Multiple Subject Credential, and a Master of Science in Counseling. I use both formal and informal assessments to determine the academic needs of each student, and then I use the results to develop an individualized education plan. Through various strategies and methods, I work one-on-one with students to develop and foster their educational growth and development, based on their individual learning styles. I believe that effective communication among parents, teachers, and tutors is essential for tutoring to be successful.
