"I have a strong foundation in computer science and programming, with particular experience in data structures, C++, HTML, Python, and JavaScript. I earned my degree in Computer Science and Creative Technology and Design from the University of Colorado Boulder, where I developed a solid understanding of core computer science concepts alongside hands-on programming experience. In my professional work as a full-stack software engineer, I have continued to use these skills in real-world applications, regularly writing, reading, and debugging code. This combination of academic and industry experience allows me to explain technical topics in a clear and approachable way.

In addition to my technical background, I have experience working as an educator in museum settings, where I regularly met people with a wide range of ages, backgrounds, and familiarity with complex topics. That experience shaped how I teach today, as I focus on meeting learners where they are in their understanding and adjusting explanations to ensure concepts truly make sense. I have also worked one-on-one with adults who are changing industries or learning to code for the first time, helping them break down assignments, understand problem-solving strategies, and build confidence in their skills.
