"I'm Blair! I graduated magna cum laude in Cell and Molecular Biology and am now a 3rd year medical student. I spent 3 years of my college career as a biology TA. I also ran supplemental instruction and office hour sessions. This allowed me to work with students one-on-one, where we had the time to thoroughly review the material, practice with problems, and apply the concepts to real-world examples. I was also able to tailor the lessons to the students' needs, as no two students learn the exact same way. I am a big believer in active learning, as I have found it makes lessons more memorable for students.

I also worked as an academic coach in college, where I helped underclassmen struggling with study skills. This included goal setting, schedule organizing, test-taking strategies, or anything else the student needed help with. This is a huge component of academic success that does not always come easy to students.
