"I was an ESL teacher of adults at the college/university level for five years, taught EFL at the middle school level in South Korea for a year, then went back to school to become a speech-language pathologist and currently work primarily at the elementary school level, though I do have several middle school students on my caseload as well. I've worked across the lifespan, from preschool to nursing home, both in ESL and as an SLP. I've worked as a 1:1 tutor, a teacher assistant, a classroom teacher, and typically do speech therapy in an individual or small group setting. I've worked with students with a variety of learning support needs, such as visual and hearing impairments, autism (ASD), learning disabilities, Down Syndrome, and ADHD.

I hold a BA in Modern Languages & Linguistics and an MA in TESOL from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, a BS in Speech and Hearing Sciences from the University of Washington, and an MS in Communication Disorders/Speech Pathology from Emerson College.
