"Hello, I am a current undergraduate student at UCSD majoring in mathematics/economics. I have tutored students before in geometry through trigonometry, but will be able to tutor all levels of math up to calculus. Because part of my major is math, the courses I am taking are heavily based around it. Therefore, I have developed a strong enough foundation to where I can help students in whatever they are having trouble with. Due to the fact that I have already been through high school, I know what to expect in each math course and the difficulty of each topic. I will be able to provide help with conceptual problems that students may be having or with specific textbook problems that the student is unable to answer. From my experience, I have learned that when students get through the initial hurdle of understanding one concept or being able to do one type of problem, they will be able to handle the other, similar questions. A little practice and understanding can go a long way and it is essential in order to excel in math.

In addition, I am able to offer assistance in SAT/ACT math if needed. I have gone through two summers of rigorous SAT/ACT preparation and am very familiar with the format of the tests and what they will ask of you.
