"I was born and raised in Japan but perhaps mostly educated in America. After I graduated from college, I became a teacher at one of the public schools.

I enjoy learning whatever it is. Learning enhances our lives in more than one way. I have experience teaching in a classroom setting and tutoring. In some way, teaching a group of students in a classroom is against my belief in the best learning environment. I believe that personalized lessons are essential to enhancing the student learning experience. There is also one significant factor in learning with your tutor.

It would be best if you felt very comfortable with your tutor and felt positive about yourself around him/her.

My strength is seeing what my students are not getting and how they can best acquire the skills. Because of this, I do not have a one-size-fits-all lesson.
