"I am a graduate of Case Western Reserve University, where I earned a degree in Nutritional Biochemistry and Metabolism on the pre-medical track. Throughout my undergraduate education, I earned high A’s in rigorous STEM and pre-med coursework, including biology, anatomy and physiology, general and organic chemistry, psychology, sociology, and calculus I–III. This interdisciplinary background allows me to explain challenging concepts clearly while helping students see how ideas connect across subjects. I am particularly comfortable working with students in biology and chemistry-based courses, as well as those preparing for the MCAT, where I help students build strong content foundations alongside effective test-taking strategies and confidence.
My tutoring experience includes one-on-one work with both high school and college students in academic and mentorship-based settings. I have supported students preparing for college-level coursework as well as undergraduates navigating demanding STEM classes. My approach is highly individualized and focuses on understanding how each student learns. I emphasize active recall, application-based problem solving, and clear conceptual frameworks so students learn how to think through problems rather than rely on memorization. This approach helps students perform better on exams while also retaining information long-term.
In addition to subject-specific tutoring, I help students develop broader academic skills that are essential for success. This includes guidance on study strategies, time management, course planning, and the transition from high school to college. I also assist with college preparation by helping students understand academic expectations, build effective study habits, and approach the application process with confidence. My goal is not only to improve grades, but to equip students with the tools, strategies, and mindset they need for sustained academic and personal success." less...
