"I am Darsh, and am currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Data Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, maintaining a 4.0 GPA. Through coursework and projects, I have developed technical expertise in Python, R, SQL, Java, machine learning, and many other data analysis/visualization softwares. I have built predictive models using real-world MLB data, developed AI-integrated applications, and applied statistical and computational methods to solve complex problems.

Since 2019, I have been tutoring and mentoring students ranging from 1st to 10th grade across multiple environments. First, I organized and taught a 12-week robotics course to a middle-school class through Citizen Schools, tutored 1 on 1 at Kumon, provided private 1 on 1 basketball lessons, and worked with FCSN supporting special needs students in subjects including math, piano, and social learning. In each role, I tailored lessons to individual needs, incorporated hands-on activities, and built both confidence and curiosity in my students.

Across all experiences, I have learned the importance of patience, listening, and making learning engaging and accessible. Whether working one-on-one, in small groups, or with the whole classroom, I focus on helping students not only complete assignments but more importantly understand the material.
