"I hold a degree in Economics from the University of Southern California and am currently pursuing my MBA at the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. During college, I competed nationally as a member of USC’s debate team, where I honed my skills in argumentation, public speaking, and persuasive writing. Over the past six years, I’ve coached middle and high school students in debate and public speaking, working with both beginners and experienced competitors to build confidence, clarity, and critical thinking. I also co-founded and directed a national virtual debate camp, Parli Debate Collective, where I led instruction, managed a team of coaches, and developed curriculum tailored to students at various levels. I have experience teaching general argumentation and speech writing, along with more niche subject areas such as micro/macroeconomics, middle east policy, and post-modern philosophy. My teaching technique largely relies on mutual participation from me and my student(s), walking through the concept together, taking time to attempt the exercise independently and then providing two-way feedback in order facilitate improvement.

Beyond debate, I have extensive personal experience navigating competitive admissions processes. I self-prepped for both college and MBA applications, gaining acceptance to USC and later U Chicago Booth without the use of private consultants. In doing so, I developed a strong understanding of how to craft compelling personal narratives and essays—skills that have translated directly into my work helping students express themselves more clearly and effectively in both academic and extracurricular settings. I understand that not everyone is a 'narrative' writer in the traditional sense, including myself, but there is always a way to tell your personal story in a genuine way.
