"I’m an avid reader who enjoys sharing my love of books and learning. I also have years of writing experience, from academic papers to published personal essays. I am currently writing a young adult novel.

My undergraduate degree is from Vassar College, where I majored in Filmmaking. I turned my love of movies and cinematography into a passion for photography. My award-winning photographs sell online and have been included in several gallery shows.

My Master’s degree is from New Mexico State University, where I majored in Education - Literacy Curriculum & Instruction. I have worked as a lead Head Start teacher, an English tutor while living in Portugal, and as my daughter’s homeschool educator. I helped her prepare for the GED, and she was able to graduate early from high school.
