"Nice to meet you! I'm an experienced teacher, both in the classroom and privately, for kids of all ages. I've taught multiple SAT and ACT (math and English) prep courses at Da Vinci Public Charter School in El Segundo. I also spent a year in Vietnam, where I taught English and test preparation for students in elementary through high school. I received my CELTA (Cambridge University) certification in HCMC for teaching English as a foreign language, and I'm now semi-fluent in Vietnamese. :) I particularly like working with young children and instilling a love of learning early.

I started college at 14 at Cal State LA, and have had a well-rounded education of upper-division English classes (American/Classical Greek literature) and math up to calculus. I ultimately followed my love of plays as a written form and graduated with a BA in Theater Arts. I've been tutoring most of my professional life, but I'm also passionate about screenwriting. If you love creative writing, TV, or movies, we'll definitely get along.

I create a respectful and supportive atmosphere, while I help each client accomplish his or her goals. I want my students to have confidence in themselves and their own intelligence. Everyone learns differently; sometimes it just takes someone with the patience to figure out what works best for that individual.
